Thermo Fisher Scientific Introduces XRF Analyzer for Light Element Analysis
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, today announced it has introduced its second-generation, high-performance, truly nondestructive handheld analyzer for light element analysis in alloy material. Thermo Fisher Scientific is the world’s leading manufacturer of handheld x-ray fluorescence (XRF) industrial analyzers.
With its helium-purging mechanism for direct analysis of light elements, the handheld Thermo Scientific NITON XL3t 900 Series provides more comprehensive alloy sorting capabilities than previously achieved with handheld instrumentation. Diverse industries, including recycling and manufacturers and fabricators of aluminum, copper and aerospace “superalloys,” directly benefit from these improvements. The nondestructive nature of the XRF technique allows testing of finished or sensitive parts without damage.
