Horizontal Slide introduced in the Automotive Industry Thomas Regout
The automotive industry improves the user friendly travel experience each year in which luxury options from the past become the norm today. Besides alternatives like controlling your dvd or cd player with a multi-functional steering wheel, a comfortable chair with heating, the user’s intuitive feeling for an armrest becomes standard as well. To meet these customer demands, we have developed the Horizontal Slide, a high quality slide that is produced according to the ISO TS 16949 norms. The horizontal slide differs from our telescopic slides, the ball bearings are replaced by special sliding strips for a smooth movement experience, giving the right feeling and functionalities. Peugeot is the first automotive customer that will use the horizontal slide for its armrest in the new 508 model that will be available soon at the Peugeot dealers.
