Toyoda presented the FH630SX of the FH-SX line of high-performance machining centres on METAV in Düsseldorf.
The combination of proven advantages of the FH-S and FH-R series creates a surplus in flexibility. Higher precision and dampening features through synchronised double drives on one hand — highly dynamic spindles and highest cutting performance on the other hand.
The standard spindle features 6,000 min-1 (30/22 kW, taper #50). A high-speed spindle with 15,000 min-1 is available as an option. Rapid traverse rate is 60 m/min and accelerations of up to 1 G can be achieved.
The Fanuc 31i with its powerful processor and many optimised functions is truly a highlight. The machines are also available with 550 and 800 mm pallets.
