First customer still prefers Tranter! Tranter
Today, 36 years later, the company is still one of Tranter’s valuable customers.
Since 1968 Invarmex Steel AB (former Värmetrans AB) has been leading in manufacturing of all kinds of stainless steel pools and equipment related to swimming.
Peter G Wångmark, founder of Värmetrans AB is still working for
the company: “In the beginning we were two small companies
supporting each other. Tranter was the best choice then as it is now; good heat exchanger sizes, great quality and service and a reasonable price level”.
For any project requiring plate heat exchangers, Tranter has been
the supplier of choice. For many years Invarmex Steel was frequently involved in water purification projects for pools for which Tranter plate heat exchangers were always needed.
The first order was for a HX-25.
Competitors have of course tried to get the attention of Invarmex Steel, but without luck. Mr Wångmark has always asked Tranter to match competitors’ offers and Tranter has succeeded.
Mr Wångmark explains that he has never wanted to replace Tranter with another heat exchanger supplier. “I hang on to suppliers that meet my expectations and with Tranter everything has worked smoothly over the years”.
He has had the same sales contact at Tranter for almost 30 years. “I have always been happy with the relationship. I have had a good contact with Peter Printz at Tranter and we have become friends over the years. I only need to provide some simple
data to get a proper offer. Mr Printz knows what our company needs”, says Mr. Wångmark.
Today the projects involving PHEs are less frequent, but Invarmex Steel still buys Tranter PHEs every year.
