Turck presents FDA conform uprox+ sensors with flexible terminal chamber connection for Food & Beverage applications and special machine manufacture

High flexibility with respect to mounting is a promissing feature of the new uprox+ sensors with integrated terminal chamber. As this version is preferably applied in the Food & Beverage industry, the uprox+ Wash-Down series will be equipped first with the new terminal chamber by the sensor, field network, interface and connection specialist. Like the sensor versions M12, M18 and M30 (flush and non-flush mounting) the new version with integrated terminal chamber fulfils the requirements to use food-safe materials which are resistant to cleaning agents, high pressure and steam jet cleaning methods.
The compact and FDA conform terminal chamber sensors enable a straight or 90° angled cable routing by simply twisting the cover. The cable is linked via a standard M16 cable gland to the cover of the terminal chamber. Removable screw or cage clamp terminals allow quick and flexible mounting on the system i.e. pre-assembling.

In the event of maintenance the sensor can easly be replaced. LEDs in the terminal chamber inform the user about the switching status and the switched mode power supply of the sensors.
