Turck introduces IP67 interconnectors for the quick-connect system

Turck has added connector versions with premoulded cables to its M12 quick-connect system. Having recently presented the female connector, the specialist in sensor, field bus, interface and connection technology will be presenting straight or angled versions of the corresponding male connector at the Hannover Fair.
The M12 quick connector is compatible with all M12 threads, and even contaminated die-cast threads do not present any problems for it. The connection is completed 85 percent faster than with a comparable M12x1 standard connector and is thus the fastest connector on the market. This quick connection component, which is available in 3, 4 and 5-pin versions, nevertheless meets the requirements of protection degree IP67. The high stability of the connector and an integrated vibration proof feature ensure a high professional level of connection security.

With this new concept, Turck intends to considerably increase the previously poor acceptance of quick connection technology on the market, since the solution developed by Escha Anschlusstechnik, a company in the Turck Group, has eliminated all the drawbacks of previously available products. Any problems with regard to compatibility and mounting, or the tightness or durability of the connection have thus been eliminated.
