Banner vision systems extend the portfolio of identifiction technology and thus open up new application areas, such as quality assurance

Turck, the specialist in sensor, field network interface and connection technology, is adding vision systems to its product portfolio as part of its strategic advancement. Starting in October, Banner vision systems will be available in Germany via Turck sales. So far, photoelectric sensors manufacturers and personnel safety systems have been sold by Turck, while vision systems were sold directly by the German Banner subsidiary, which will be merged into the Turck sales organization.

“By adding vision systems to the product portfolio, Turck once again confirms its position as a provider of single components and of system solutions" says Christian Wolf, Managing Director of Turck. “We are thus not only rounding off our modular RFID package BL ident with vision systems, but are also opening up new areas of application, such as quality assurance.
