Over the past year we have developed a modular extraction and filtration unit for special laser machining methods. A combination of cleanable filters and high-efficiency HEPA-filters remove fine dusts and aerosols from the air. The deposition rate is significantly higher than 99.995%. With LAS 300 HFM054 an H-approved filter device is on the market at first time, meaning a device that is suitable for filtering extremly unhealthy dust. In addition, in this configuration it is explosion proof (unit of Group II, Category 1D according to ATEX Directive 94/9/EC).
