What is the CNC retrofit ?

Your machine tool is still in working order but the CNC is outdated or broken. The CNC retrofit is an affordable solution that can modernize a machine tool. It’s about removing the old CNC and some unrecoverable components (drives, motors, rules, sensors ...) and replace them by a last generation system.
After a preliminary study (components and wiring diagrams), Vertex is able to provide a turnkey installation, adapted to each machine and bringing every progress of a modern digital control. Production can be resumed quickly, without machine downtime.

Vertex offers its new replacement digital control. Resulting of a development for maximum flexibility, the new CN 1040 includes all the applications of a modern numerical control (ISO, 3D, macros, network configuration).
With over 250 retrofitting to its credit, the CN1040 fits many configurations (machining, milling, grinding, boring). Each project being unique, Vertex provides a quantitative study based on the work that has to be done.

The implementation is assured as well as the placing in service and initial training.
