Release of Low Viscosity Vane Pump with Lower Total Cost of Ownership

Viking Pump's innovative LVP series stainless steel Vane Pump has harder components for lower total cost of ownership. With 14 Bar/200 psi thin liquid capability, and capacities up to 45m3/hr (200 gpm), the new LVP pumps are designed for thin, corrosive liquids at higher pressures than other positive displacement pumps. The pumps provide exceptional performance, advanced durability, application flexibility, simple installation, ease of maintenance to help users realize enhanced productivity, and a lower total cost of ownership.

“With our new LVP Series, we are providing a true, industrial-duty product with exceptional performance for corrosive, low viscosity liquids,” said John Hall, Viking’s Product Manager. “For instance, the LVP series is designed to minimize life-cycle costs, and its stainless steel casing is surface-hardened to 62 Rockwell C, reducing casing and vane wear. The LVP series’ standard chrome oxide coated shaft and silicon carbide bushings are extremely hard and long-lasting, and its PEEK® vanes offer high strength, low friction for less wear, and broad chemical compatibility. The LVP series is also maintenance-friendly, allowing complete draining and easy vane or seal replacement without removing the pump from its system.”

The LVP series is available in a metric-standard design, with DIN flanges, IEC motor mount, and metric-standard shaft seal options. It is also available with ANSI flange ports, NEMA motor mount, inch-standard seals, and it can be foot mounted.
