The extensometer 178 developped by Vishay Nobel has been specially made for silos weighing and levels controls on existing and new silos installations from few tons to several hundred tons.
The extensometer 178 is a strain gages transducer directly fixed on silo legs and transform the applied load on the legs into a proportional electric signal (mV/V) which is directly used into standards strain gages transmitters or display professional indicators.
