Version 5.0 of the video management software Supervisor VS visual tools
The Supervisor VS, software that allows for the remote supervision and management of any Visual Tools' DVR, is available now in version 5. This version incorporates improvements addressed to provide the user with all the necessary tools for the information and video processing, simplifying the tasks in the daily operativity and reinforcing the centralized management.
The fist innovation is its new interface, with liquid rescaling, that permits to adjust the application to the user’s screen resolution, and to dynamically resize the controls (viewer, filters, lists…) when in use. It permits opening different windows with different functionalities to simultaneously perform two or more tasks (for instance, watching live video and recorded video while managing the downloads and configuring the application)
As for other functional improvements, the Supervisor VS offers now automatic on the fly recording, that permits to automatically record quickly (up to 50x) a complete video recording or only a fragment of it and, besides, to play it back, download it or filter it (by event, alarm, VMD or POS) and play back and download only the resulting filtered video.
It also improves the speed and accuracy of the download of the recorded video and the programmed downloads in CIF resolution (384x288).
It incorporates a new external video player (avi, mpg, mpeg or vsv) available in the language of the application to playback all the files of a directory or create new video files by merging the existing ones indicating the recording speed up to a maximum of MB indicated, and also to playback the sequences in raw format 640x480 and at 25 fps.
And finally, the system is reinforced with a protection mechanism that in the event of a complete server failure enables to change to client mode and keep on working with a local database until it can return to function on the network.
