The following operations/processes can be combined into one line enabling the whole system to be controlled by one operator: drilling, centering, counter sinking, thread tapping, contour marking and thermal cutting. The Voortman range of plate processing systems consists of 3 models, the V318C, V330C and the V330S.

V330S – Marking, drilling and cutting of sheet metal to heavy plate all on one machine

The V330S, the most comprehensive system in the range, is a combined drilling and thermal cutting CNC controlled machine for the processing of plates.

Production advantages:

- Efficient production by minimizing handling. After loading the plate the whole process is automatically carried out
- No expensive loss of production because the system is drilling and cutting simultaneously
- Substantial higher production capacity by separating both processes
- Webs, flanges, connection plates and all types of fittings are all produced on one system with just one operator

V318C and V330C – Automated, compact systems for drilling and cutting of plates

The Voortman V318C and V330C plate processing systems are combined drilling and thermal cutting CNC controlled machines. These compact machines consist of in- and outfeed roller conveyors, a plate positioning system and a main machine frame with a vertical drilling unit on the infeed side and an oxy-acetylene torch unit on the outfeed side.

Production advantages:

- Reduction of handling costs and plate processing times: by directly loading the plate onto the machine the plate drilling and cutting is automatically carried out.
