New profile processing systems at EuroBlech 2010 Voortman Steel Machinery

  • New profile processing systems at EuroBlech 2010
Rijssen, 15 Sept. 2010 – Coming to EuroBlech offers steel fabricators and steel stock holders the opportunity to see many innovations in the industry, including four Voortman profile processing systems, which Voortman will present in two halls. This Dutch manufacturer of production systems for the structural steel industry and steel stock holders will present and demonstrate the brand new plasma beam coping system V808M in Hannover.

This new CNC-controlled V808M beam coping system, not only copes profiles using plasma, but is also capable of applying marking layout lines and information to all four sides of a profile. For example, manually marking of position connection plates with a system is a thing of the past. This provides you a cost savings of at least 1 man-hour per ton of steel.

Voortman’s second showcase is an upgrading of the VB1050 profile band saw. Voortman applies in this VB1050 band saw servo controlled spindle drive. In addition, this successor will be more efficient on the wearing of parts than the previous type. Moreover, this redesigned band saw has less wear parts than the previous type.

Also at the Voortman booth, the profile drilling system V630M, which will certainly be a crowd puller. The V630M, provided with Twin Cad control, is executed with 3 drilling units, which can operate simultaneously and independently from each other. By application of synchronous servo motors with a nominal regulated power of 30kW(S1), both for driving the drill unit and for positioning, the V630M is world's fastest beam drilling system.
