USDA Dairy Standard-approved Quick Clean Orifice Gate Valves can be readily disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled without tools for fast, flexible maintenance – ideal for food, pharmaceutical, and other industries that require daily sanitation to eliminate cross contamination or spoilage.

The Vortex Quick Clean Orifice Gate is specifically designed to handle dry bulk solids in gravity-flow conveying applications. Its fully adjustable press lock latches allow for a narrow profile and quick disassembly. Sizes range from 50 to 200mm (2 to 8 inches).

The blade and seal design on a Quick Clean Orifice Gate allows the valve to “self-clean” on the opening stroke, preventing material from packing on the valve’s internal seals. This feature is critical to maintain cleanliness and inhibit material leakage across the valve or into the atmosphere.

The valve also includes hard polymer seals that compensate for wear over time. These seals also are protected from blast abrasion, providing long service life and durability, without frequent maintenance.
