New: All-round and side labeling unit RSE 250 Weber Marking
Labeling in throughput mode
The system, comprising two Alpha label dispensers, produces up to 350 side label applications per minute. Clock frequencies of up to 100 products per minute can be achieved with all-round labeling – also with front and back labels. A controlled top belt and sprung chain belt alignment provide reliable guidance also of small containers, even at high clock frequencies. They also ensure synchronous operation with the main belt under varying load conditions. The so-called alternating separation provides the required distance for labeling between the approaching products. The label feed is automatically matched to the belt speed.
Flexibility through modular design
The system processes labels up to 200 mm wide. The RSE processes all conventional self-adhesive labels. Depending on the shape of the product, various foam rollers, brushes or plastic spatulas are used to ensure optimal adhesion to the product.
The machine is conveniently set up via the swivel-mounted touch panel with color display. Features such as plain text error messages, item counters and end-of-roll warnings support the operator in his work. Various parameters such as product name, system speed, label position, alternating separation and alignment can be specified and stored for ten different products in total.
The modular design of the RSE 2500 allows any container shape to be labeled. A wide range of optional basic strip types and conveyor belts or chains are available for this purpose. For all-round labeling, the system is also available in a three-roller version or with a special belt drive with an unreeling counter plate.
Thermal transfer and hot stamping printing units as well as inkjet or laser coders can be integrated into the system for products requiring additional data such as batch numbers or production and best before dates.
