In order to further support its Asian expansion, Westermo Teleindustri AB has opened a new subsidiary in Singapore.

“We have two main goals with this new Westermo office. The first one is to improve the reactivity of the support and services we provide to all of our existing customers in Asia without being submitted to the time difference. The second is to have the closest relationship possible with our end customers and distributors in order to provide them the necessary proximity to develop ever more ambitious, innovative and important projects. Asia is a strategic market for us and our growth has been very strong there during the last five years. Our Singapore office will be our central point for Asia, apart from Australia,” says Kenneth ISACSSON, Sales and Marketing Manager.
The subsidiary will be led by Earnest PHUA, 28, who formerly worked for Phoenix Contact as Business Development Engineer after being employed by Vector Infotech, the Singapore distributor for Westermo.
