HANDLING IN CLEAN ROOMS
Until now, workers either had to carry the loads by hand or robots had to move loads in clean rooms. The disadvantages of robots, however, were and still are that:
--their installation and operation is more expensive
--only relatively short distances can be covered
--only small loads can be moved
--they are not very flexible
Customers from various industries have frequently presented
this problem to us.
We have taken this as an opportunity to analyse the topic in detail. With a strategic new development ZASCHESitec has now overcome precisely these problems.
In cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Manucturing Engineering and Automation, a sophisticated system has been created which allows special handling equipment to be used in clean rooms.
