AC/DC power supply - Convection cooled –
short-term up to 145% power at > 70°C operating temperature

The extraordinarily powerful AC/DC power supply unit which supplies up to 145% output power for a short time up to the point of temperature-controlled shut-down at 95°C is another device series marketed by Zentro-Elektrik, which supplements the reliable and robust well-known AC/DC and DC/DC power supply units.

Depending on the type, the devices supply a nominal output power of between 1000 W up to 1800 W at output voltages of between 24 VDC, 48 VDC, 60 VDC, 110 VDC and 220 VDC. The devices have been designed for rough industrial application, in railway and in safety-relevant applications, such as those used for utility facilities, power station engineering, automation engineering and plant and machine engineering. Depending on the type, the efficiency ranges up to 90%, the temperature range being -25° Celsius to +70°C. The active current sharing permits up to five devices to be switched in parallel without one devices being loaded more than the others. In addition, the devices have been provided with sense connectors.

Because of the modular design numerous variants can be realised upon request of the customer with respect to the electrical specification, such as another current and voltage level, or with respect to the environmental conditions, such as high humidity as well as vibration and shock load. On account of their modular design, the devices can be adapted to the respective requirements and tasks reliably and without any problems.
