The DVD400 Interferometer System provides high-accuracy, noncontact, measurements of transmitted-wavefront quality of small professional lenses (1.5 - 6 mm).
The DVD400 is especially well suited for gauging lenses used in next-generation DVD optical storage and audio-visual devices. The System's Fizeau interferometer uses a 405 nanometer laser diode manufacturers light source and a high-resolution imaging system to ensure accurate measurement and analysis at the lens' operating wavelength.
The DVD400 System includes ZYGO's MetroPro™ metrology software running under Microsoft Windows XP® on a latest-generation PC. Measured results and statistical data are displayed simultaneously in quantitative numerical and 3-D graphical display formats and can be conveniently viewed, logged, or printed. Many useful measurement analysis results are available, including Point Spread Function and Aberration Coefficients. For added process control, visual pass/fail flags and alerts can be enabled for defined control limits, thereby eliminating operator subjectivity. MetroPro software provides complete control of the System's data acquisition and analysis functions, and allows them to be automated if desired.
